American Program Bureau 50th Anniversary Official Contest Rules

Below are the Official Rules and Regulations to participate in our #APB50 contest! We will be having great book and gift card giveaways all year long, so look out for your first chance to win next week:


The “#APB50 Contest” is sponsored American Program Bureau (“Sponsor”). This contest is governed by these official rules. By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by American Program Bureau, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and/or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Sponsor, not Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and/or Instagram.


The Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents, over the age of 18. Employees of American Program Bureau (along with its contractors, affiliates and subsidiaries) and their families are not eligible. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.


The Contest begins at April 15, 2015 Noon EST and ends at December 31, 2015, midnight EST. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.


Contestants will enter through American Program Bureau’s social media accounts — including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and Instagram — by answering trivia questions, submitting photos and using the #APB50 hashtag in creative ways. Multiple entries in a single day will not be accepted on any social media platform. Contestants can only win once per gift card or book giveaway. For each entry, you must either comment on our Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and/or Instagram or mention us in your post so we can find your entry (@abpspeakers or #APBspeakers).


Winners will receive $50 and $100 VISA gift cards as well as books by selected speakers represented by American Program Bureau. This will occur over the span of the contest period to American Program Bureau’s discretion.

Employees of American Program Bureau will judge the contest. Submissions will be judged on their creativity and originality. All decisions of the judges are final. Announcement and instructions for the prizes will be sent to the e-mail address supplied by the prize winner selected. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her e-mail account for prize notification and other communications related to this contest. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Sponsor within fifteen (15) days, using the contact information provided, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.


All entries become the property of American Program Bureau. American Program Bureau reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including submissions provided by the contestants, for editorial, marketing and any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.


All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. American Program Bureau in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its web site or is otherwise in violation of these rules.


American Program Bureau is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, American Program Bureau may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants further agree to release American Program Bureau from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contest.
