American Program Bureau Celebrates Earth Day

Today is Earth Day and throughout APB’s 50 years, the company has stood by speakers who have brought important environmental issues to the public eye. After all, this is the only planet we have, and we need to take care of it. Highlighted are some of our speakers dedicated to protecting what we have and another #50ReasonsWhyAPB is at the forefront.

APB Earth Day 2015

Gro Harlem Brundtland has always led the world on issues of global significance. She serves as UN Special Envoy on Climate Change, seeking ways to balance human enterprise and the planet’s limits. As a member of The Elders, Brundtland contributes her wisdom to tackling tough problems.

Phil Radford knows that how America grapples with global climate change, clean energy, and other environmental issues will determine if we leave a livable planet to future generations. He believes that the leadership of students and executives can accelerate the clean energy revolution to stop climate change.

Alexandra Cousteau continues the work of her renowned grandfather Jacques-Yves Cousteau as a globally recognized advocate on water issues. Cousteau is dedicated to advocating the importance of water conservation and sustainable management, as water is essential to life.

Graham Hill founded the groundbreaking website TreeHugger.com, which brought the sustainability conversation into the mainstream. Hill communicates how we can all create a simpler, wealthier, greener, and happier planet when he speaks.
